Police Reports
Overview
Police reports can be made by citizens for incidents or accidents which occur within the city limits of Merriam. Reports can be made in the following ways:
- Call 911 or the non-emergency dispatch number, 913.782.0720, and an officer will come to your location within the city limits of Merriam to take your report.
- Come to the Merriam Police Department where a community service officer or a police officer can take your report.
- Some reports can be made by phone by calling the Merriam Police Department at 913.322.5560. After speaking to a police officer or a community service officer, it can be determined if the report can be made this way. These would generally be reports that require little or no follow-up or investigation.
*****NOTE: AS OF DECEMBER 18, 2018, THE ONLINE REPORTING SYSTEM IS TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE DUE TO A RECORDS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CHANGE. THIS FEATURE WILL RETURN IN THE FUTURE.*****
