The Yoshinkan style of aikido is a dynamic system of throwing, joint-locking, striking, and pinning techniques. At its core, aikido is a self-defense martial art used by many law enforcement agencies around the world as an effective way to neutralize aggression safely. At the start , learning a martial art can be intimidating. However, Aikido is taught in a way that makes learning fun and engaging. Wear pants and long sleeves, come 15 min early, introduce yourself, and then remove your shoes and socks to prepare for class.
