Families, friends, couples, individuals... whoever you are, whatever your fitness goals, the new Merriam Community Center is Just Right!
The City of Merriam is excited to open our new 66,000-square-foot community center! Membership provides full access to the facility, including an indoor pool with slides, lazy river, lap lanes, and therapy water; outdoor pool with lap lanes, diving boards, and zip line; industry-leading fitness equipment; walking/jogging track; full-size gym with options for basketball, volleyball, and pickleball; and space to gather and host events.
With easy access from I-35, free parking, no contracts or cancellation penalties, the Merriam Community Center is just right for your fitness and family fun.
Merriam City Council worked hard to make sure our membership rates are comparable to neighboring cities.

For children 6 months to 8 years old. Available beginning when Kansas enters the Phase Out of the Ad Astra Plan.

Residency & Household Memberships
Residency is defined as someone who resides within the city limits of Merriam or someone who owns taxable real estate within city limits. Proof required with a valid driver’s license or state ID, current city business license, or Notice of Appraised Value issued by the Johnson County Assessor’s Office.
Monthly memberships are automatically billed on the 5th of the month until written notification of cancellation is received from the member.
¹Household memberships include 2 adults and up to 4 dependent children as defined by the IRS Qualifying Age Rule. Children age 18–24 must provide proof of residency. Additional dependents can be added for a fee.
²Two-Person Household includes two people who live at the same address, one of which must be at least 18 years old.
³Senior Household includes two adults who live at the same address, one of which must be 60 years old.
⁴Additional Dependent applies to the 6-person Household membership.
*You must provide written notification of cancellation if you don’t want to continue monthly membership at its regular rates starting September 2020.
Children under 2 are free.
